Have you ever sipped on your morning coffee and wondered to yourself:
What is coffee?
Where does it come from?
How is coffee processed and roasted?
How did it get to my kitchen counter?
(Hopefully you know the answer to that last one)

Coffee enthusiasts of all levels are invited to join us in an exploration of the history, taxonomy and culture surrounding the world’s favorite caffeinated beverage. Attendees will learn about the journey of coffee from crop to cup, and be invited to think more holistically about this kitchen staple.

Topics covered will include: coffee production and harvesting, coffee processing methods and their impact on flavor, coffee roasting overview, a brief history of commercial coffee consumption, and more.
